Villa Renovation Project
The Roslyn Terrace Villa Renovation project was a labour of love and a testament to our team’s enduring craftsmanship and design sensibilities. Situated in the historic neighbourhood of Devonport, this classic villa underwent a transformation that blended modern functionality with timeless charm.
Led by our experienced team and in collaboration with talented professionals such as Matthew Bates from Leading by Design and Kate Gardham from Suede & Stone, this project aimed to breathe new life into a cherished piece of local architecture. The clients, Mike and Gemma, entrusted us with their vision for a home honouring the past while embracing the comforts of contemporary living.
The renovation included a reimagined kitchen area seamlessly integrating modern appliances and conveniences while preserving the villa’s original character. A new balcony entry access was added, enhancing the home’s curb appeal and providing a welcoming entrance for residents and guests.
Central to the design was creating an open-plan living and lounge area that served as the heart of the home. This space was carefully crafted to promote flow and connectivity, allowing for intimate gatherings and lively entertainment.
Throughout the project, every detail was thoughtfully considered to evoke a sense of nostalgia and warmth. From the selection of materials to the placement of lighting fixtures, each element was chosen to enhance the overall ambience and functionality of the space.
As the project progressed, sentimentality permeated the air, reminding us of our enduring connections with clients and their homes. To be entrusted with a second renovation for Mike and Gemma was a true honour and a testament to the lasting relationships we cultivate with those we work with.
The Roslyn Terrace Villa Renovation is a tribute to the past, a celebration of the present, and a promise for the future. It is a testament to the power of collaboration, creativity, and craftsmanship in transforming a house into a home.
